Jon Miller

Jon has been at Capital City since January 2006 and is our primary teacher and communicator on Sunday mornings.  He is known for his practical bible based messages and "down to earth style" of communicating.  He is responsible for leading our staff and setting the direction of our long-term vision along with our elders.  Jon is married to April, who is a Christian Counselor and local radio talk show host. They have three kids, Brooks, Brianna and Blair. Prior to coming to Capital City Jon and April have served in various ministries, including overseas missions, college ministry and church ministry.  

Youth Minister

Tyler Wallace

Tyler joined the staff of Capital City in February 2010.  Tyler is a recent graduate of Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN.  He is originally from King, NC, where his father is the Senior Minister at Poplar Springs Church of Christ.  Tyler is engaged to Meghan Marburger and will be getting married in June. Tyler is passionate about helping youth and children grow in their relationship with Christ.

Betsy Clement

Betsy Clement has been church secretary at Capital City since September 2000 after retiring as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Wake Forest University Divinity School in Winston-Salem. She was born in Raleigh and worked for many years with the Federal Court prior to becoming a full-time mother of two children, Art and Renee, who have blessed her with five precious grandchildren. She loves to read and attend Southern Gospel Music concerts, but her favorite past-time is spending time with her grandchildren.
